Why PADI Rescue Diver?
The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you'll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence.

What do I need to start?
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another diver training organisation). Successful completion of a sanctioned CPR program (such as the Emergency First Response Course) within the past 24 months.

What will I do?
Knowledge Development and assessment
Completion of Ten Rescue Training Exercises
Four Open Water Rescue Scenarios
Prior to Knowledge Development Presentation Two and Rescue Training Session Two, the PADI Rescue Diver course student diver must successfully complete a sanctioned course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR-Primary Care) and basic first aid (Secondary Care) within the past two years (24 months). Emergency First Response is an ideal qualification.

How long will it take?
The course can be completed in approximately 2 to 3 days. Including all knowledge development, in water training and open water scenarios.

What is included in the course fees?
PADI Rescue Diver Manual
Diving Insurance
PIC Application
You will need to provide two passport sized photographs prior to certification.

Where can I go from here?
The PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all Professional level PADI courses, beginning with the PADI Divemaster certification, so enroll in a PADI Rescue Diver course and prepare yourself for what lies ahead.
