This dive is characterized by volcanic peaks and troughs, which can be swum around and through. The boat anchors on a ledge in 6 metres and we follow a slope down to a depth of 18 metres. Here we will find a large shoal of roncadores (bastard grunts!) and then into a natural amphitheatre where we can find many colourful anenomies, scorpion fish and for the sharp eye, nudibranches. We then swim through the maze of volcanic formations and return to the anchor. The site is fascinating and is filled with many smaller shoaling fish, morays and octopus. |
